7 Eagerly Awaited Electric Vehicles

The electric vehicle market is booming. Market share is increasing and more and more motorists are enthusiastic about this cleaner mode of transport than ever before. This explains why the existing models are increasing in droves. The next few months will be spectacular for this segment.

We have therefore decided to present to you some of the electric vehicles that will be appearing on the market shortly, somewhere in the year 2021.

Nissan Ariya

The Ariya is a brand new vehicle for Nissan. This crossover is equipped with the new semi-autonomous driving system of Nissan ProPilot 2.0, which debuted on the Nissan Skyline sedan in the Japanese market. The Ariya is said to offer a range of 480 kilometres but only when equipped with the optional front/rear dual-motor drive configuration and the larger 87.0 kWh battery.

Mazda MX30

It is already circulating in Europe and is confirmed for mid-2021 for Canada. Its electric range is more modest, but the Mazda MX-30 has an exclusive design and, oh goodness, a rotary motor that serves as a range extender by recharging the battery.

Hyundai Ioniq5

A small crossover which, for the moment, is still very discreet. The Ioniq5 is the first vehicle to succeed the Ioniq’s current lineup and it will not only mark a new stage in the development of electric cars at Hyundai, but it will be the forerunner of a new line totally dedicated to electric vehicles.

Kia CV

We would love to tell you more, but it is impossible. The Kia CV is the industry's best-kept secret. We know that this all-electric vehicle will be launched somewhere in 2021, but that's it. The spy photos show it to be very sporty, but we will have to wait a few months to find out more.

VW ID.4

All-wheel-drive models will be part of the ID.4 lineup and single-engine rear-wheel-drive models will be the first to be launched. The rear-mounted engine produces 201 horsepower, but the dual-engine all-wheel-drive model will instead develop 302. Regenerative braking helps recover energy when the vehicle slows down. The Volkswagen ID.4 is capable of towing up to 2,700 pounds and will have a total range of 400 km.

Mustang Mach E

The arrival of the first 100% electric Mustang will have different autonomies depending on the battery chosen. It is the vehicle that has sunk the most to date. Why? Because purists have still not come to terms with the Mustang name for an electric SUV. It will be the first of the new models to make its appearance in early January 2021.

Hummer EV

Over 1,000 horsepower, a pickup silhouette, and acceleration as sharp as a "muscle car". That’s all that is being promised of the new all-electric Hummer truck, which as of this writing is still being kept under wraps. But it won't be long until we know more.

Obviously, electric vehicles will increase rapidly over the next few years. And the entire ALBI le Géant team will be happy to keep up with the movement for you.
